Choosing the Right Lash Glue for Hot, Cold, and Humid Conditions

Choosing the Right Lash Glue for Hot, Cold, and Humid Conditions

As a lash artist, one of the most common challenges is getting your glue to behave perfectly, no matter the season. Hot weather, cold weather, and varying humidity can all affect how quickly your adhesive cures — and if you’re not prepared, it can impact your lash retention and your workflow.

Here’s a simple guide to help you choose the right glue and adjust your technique so you can focus on your work without worrying about the environment.

  • My Rule of Thumb

    • Hot weather → 1-second glue

    • Cold weather → 0.5-second glue

    • Low humidity → use a glue accelerator

    • Glue drying too fast → bigger drop or slower-drying formula

Once you get these basics down, you can stop stressing over the environment and focus on what really matters: creating gorgeous lashes that last.

Because let’s face it — when your glue behaves, your whole day goes smoother, your clients are happier, and your lashes look flawless every time.
